Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly feature created at The Broke and the Bookish but this month, Jan 2018, it has moved over to That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week they post a new Top Ten list that one of the bloggers will answer. Everyone is welcome to join in. I had a little dig around on their blog and even though it is called ‘Top Ten Tuesday’ you don’t have to actually have 10 books, its just a recommendation 🙂
This weeks Top Ten Tuesday is…
Ten Books We Meant To Read In 2017 But Didn’t Get To (and totally plan to get to in 2018!!)
1. Filthy Rich – Wendy Holden
I meant to read this as it came recommended however I kept ending up with books I thought I’d prefer.
2. About A Boy – Nick Hornby
I have no excuse or reason!
3. The Life I Left Behind – Colette McBeth
I will admit, I did start this book but then I became unwell and didn’t manage to finish it. 2018 we are coming for you!
4. Fairy Tales – Brothers Grimm
I’ve wanted to read this book for years and can’t wait to get me teeth into it this year.
5. Alone With The Dead – James Nall
This has been collecting dust on my bookshelf for far too long as it’s definitely a book that looks like it would be right up my street!
6. Nineteen Eighty-four – George Orwell
A timeless classic I must read.
7. You, Me and Him – Alice Peterson
I was given it as a gift and I just haven’t got around to it yet.
8. House Rules – Jodi Picoult
I Love Jodi Picoult and I really can’t wait to read this book 📖
9. The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat – Oliver Sacks
This has been highly recommended from a friend who gives the best recommendations.
10. The Shack – Paul Young
A shack, a forest and a gripping tag line….. what more could a bookworm want.
What books are you looking forward to reading in 2018? Are you being thrifty and trying to read lots of books of your TBR list or do you get drawn into book stores?– Happy reading 🙂
